Q: I just moved into a new residence, do I need to buy new locks so the last residents don't have access?
A: No. We provide a service called "rekeying." As long as your locks are in good working order, there is no reason to incur the added cost of replacing hardware. We are ABLE to simply take your lock apart and change the pins or wafers that make the lock operate with the old key, and replace it with new pins or wafers and get you new keys. This will give you the peace of mind knowing that the previous occupiers, their family, or their friends will not have keyed access.
Q: I would like all of my locks to operate on one key. Is this possible?
A: Yes. As long as the locks are the same brand, we are
ABLE to rekey them to match. The best way to determine if your locks are
ABLE to be 'keyed alike' is to take a key that you know opens one of your locks and see if it will go into the other locks in your home. If the key goes in (does not have to unlock) then we are
ABLE to key them alike.
Q: I have a safe that I have lost the combination and/or keys to. Are you
ABLE to get it open?
A: Yes. In this situation we will want to gather as much information about your safe as possible. We are
ABLE to get the original factory combination for many safes. Please note that this is the combination that the safe was set to when it left the factory. If the combination has ever been changed, this process will not solve your problem. We are still
ABLE to open any safe. Just call and talk to one of our safe technicians with the make and model of your safe for an estimate.
Q: I want to have the combination changed on my safe. Can you help me?
A: Yes. We are
ABLE to change the combination on most safes out there. Call us with the manufacturer and model for a quote.
Q: My car key has a transponder or chip key. Can you make me a duplicate?
A: Yes. We are
ABLE to make these keys for most vehicles. Please call us with the year, the make, and the model of your vehicle and we can get you a price, usually lower than the dealers.
Q: I have lost all of the keys to my car / house / business / or anything that needs a key. Can you help with this?
A: Yes. We are
ABLE to make keys when you have no key available. Please contact us with your specific need and we will assist you.
Q: I locked myself out of my car / home / business. Can you help me?
A: Yes. We are
ABLE to open cars, homes, and businesses. Picture ID is required. Also, depending on the situation, we may require additional information to insure that we are opening for someone that is authorized.
Q: I am concerned about someone 'bumping' my locks, are there locks that cannot be 'bumped?'
A: Yes. We stock many locks that cannot be 'bumped.'
Q: I already carry too many keys, are there products that provide for keyless entry?
A: Yes. We are
ABLE to provide keyless entry locks for both your home and your business.
Q: I have a fireproof safe, is my stuff safe from fire?
A: Not necessarily. All fire safes are not alike. At
